Dr Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from National University of Singapore in 2004. During his undergraduate years, he has been placed on the Dean's List and received many awards including SDA President's Bronze Medal (2001), Wee Kheng Chiang Memorial Scholarship (2001), BDS 71 Scholarship (2003), and SEAADE Book Prize (2004).
His keen interest in prosthodontics led him to further pursue a full-time postgraduate master degree. He graduated in 2009 with a Master of Dental Surgery (Prosthodontics) and Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was also the recipient of the Prosthodontic Society Gold Medal/ Distinction (2009) (Best Student in Prosthodontic Final MDS)
Prior to private practice, Dr Lim practiced in National University Hospital (NUH) Dental Centre from 2004 to 2011. He was a visiting specialist at the Singapore Armed Forces, and was involved in part-time teaching and clinical supervision at NUS Dental Undergraduate program and Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology (GDDI) program.
Dr Lim has special interests in diagnosis/treatment planning of esthetic and functional dental problems, dental implants and fixed/removable prosthodontics rehabilitation.
