Dr Loh specializes in implant dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, removable dentures and aesthetic dentistry. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore (NUS). She teaches in the undergraduate Restorative Division; post graduate Prosthodontic Residency programme and the Graduate Diploma in Dental Implant course of the Division of Graduate Dental Studies.
She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from National University of Singapore and her specialist training in Prosthodontics from Indiana University, USA.
She was formally a full time teaching staff at the Faculty of Dentistry, NUS for 15 years and had received excellence in teaching award, and Outstanding Researcher Awards, NUS.
Dr Loh has been active in the Dental Fraternity serving in various capacities. She was the past chairperson for the Dental Specialist Accreditation Committee (Prosthodontic), past president of the Prosthodontic Society (Singapore), council member of the College of Dental Surgeons, Singapore; and the Women Doctor Association, Singapore.
She is currently the vice chairman of the Joint Committee of Dental Specialist Accreditation and council member in Prosthodontic Society, Singapore; College of Dental Surgeons, Singapore.
Dr Loh is also active in the community. She served as a volunteer in the Tsu Chi Free Dental Clinic. She was the past president of the Hwa Chong Junior College Alumni (2009 to 2013) and is currently one of the Advisors. She has also been serving on the Board of Governors, Hwa Chong Institution since 2010 and is chairing its Personnel subcommittee from 2014.
